Elastic Seat Billing

Includes 25 active learner seats

How the monthly flow works

  1. You receive one invoice by email at the end of each billing cycle
  2. Invoice shows base fee + any seats above your included 25
  3. Pay by EFT (bank transfer) — 14 days to settle
  4. Your admin dashboard always shows seats in use and invoices to date

Bring our CourseForge engine into your own systems

  • Tier 1 — CourseForge: R 800 / month. Generate full courses from your own doctrine via API.
  • Tier 2 — + Lecturer: R 2 500 / month. Adds the AI Lecturer endpoints.
  • Tier 3 — Full Engine: R 6 500 / month. Competency engine and refresher logic included.
  • Every key: monthly credit quota, per-minute rate limit, no overage charges — flat and predictable
  • Stateless by design: API source text is deleted after 7 days and never included in backups
  • Certification stays on the platform — the API never issues certificates

Questions we get asked

What counts as a "seat"?

A learner who is actively training that month. You can invite your whole staff list — you're billed on the peak number of active learners in a cycle, so dormant accounts never cost you.

How does the API billing work?

Each API key carries one tier and a flat monthly price. The tier sets which endpoints the key can reach; the quota caps how many course generations it can run per month. When the quota is exhausted the key simply stops — there are no overage charges, ever.

What happens after the 7-day trial?

Your trial subscription converts to Elastic Seat Billing automatically. Your first invoice arrives after your first full billing cycle, with 14 days to pay by EFT. Nothing is charged during the trial and no card is required. We email you 3 days before it ends.

Can we change or cancel our plan?

Yes. Org admins can switch between Elastic and Annual at any time from the dashboard, and every pricing change we make on our side is logged with a full audit trail.

Do you offer discounts for NGOs and humanitarian networks?

Yes — pricing per organisation is the norm, not the exception. Email support@opstrainer.co.za with your team size and we'll put a rate together.
